Melbourne International Comedy Festival 27 March - 21 April

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival is here! Catch your favourite comedians in venues all across the city. For three and a half weeks you are invited to come along with your friends and family to have a laugh.

With a variety of comedy shows, there is something for everyone to enjoy. You can look forward to free family fun, special events, solo shows and after dark specials. Come out and show your support for local comedic talent as well as international performers.

We are pleased to announce we are food and beverage partners this year! You can enjoy a $40pp dinner special featuring 2 courses and a champagne cocktail on arrival (mocktail also available).

Run the Tan 21 April

Elite athletes, serious runners, school, families and spectators are all welcome at this charity running festival. The Tan is an iconic running track which surrounds the Royal Botanic Gardens. You can look forward to celebrity appearances, school races and a fun run in which everyone can have a bit of fun!

Promoting a healthy and active lifestyle is the mission of Run the Tan. Both funds and awareness are being raised surrounding the positive impact that exercise has on mental wellbeing and health.

Marshmallow Laser Feast: Works of Nature 14 April

Watch the hidden forces of Nature come to life around you during this immersive experience put on at ACMI.

Brought to you by the London based collective Marshmallow Laser Feast, this massive artistic experience takes you through a guided meditation. Utilising large scale screen works along with interactive experiences you can look forward to experiencing your own kind of metamorphosis. Evolve from a droplet of water into plants, cells, stars and eventually into the cosmos. Explore the role and interconnectedness of life.

This is a multi artist collaboration and not one to be missed!

Ghosts? What Ghosts! Night Tour 4-12 April

Embark on a journey through the Old Melbourne Gaol and experience its grim history. Unexplainable happenings have occurred over the years, both visitors and staff alike have reported experiencing mysterious things.

While there is no hard proof of supernatural entities residing in the gaol, the eerie nature and darkness of the gaol are the perfect place for ghostly phenomena to occur. The tour takes place at night and is conducted in confined dark spaces, it is not recommended for children under 12 years old. Appropriate shoes are recommended.
