Bluesfest Melbourne

For the first time ever, Australia’s favourite blues and roots music festival will be taking place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Previously held in Byron Bay, the festival is perfect for those who want a relaxed yet fun time listening to the best blues that Sydney has to offer. Since the event will be held at the MCEC it means that rain or shine the event will go ahead!

Spanning for two Days, 8th-9th of April, you will get the chance to see Aussie talents as well as some stellar international acts to give you the experience of a lifetime. This one is not to be missed if you love live music and culture!

The Rest is Up To You

This interactive exhibition will give you a brand new and fresh perspective of Melbourne Fringe. Featuring video installations mixed with vibrant sound design, hear the stories of Melbourne Fringe’s past told through a chorus of voices. The exhibition opens up a space for you to reflect on the history of Fringe along with the present through the artistic displays. 

If you are interested in attending, there are a variety of programs to attend including performance lectures, panel discussions, and shows. Come along and see what the future holds for the Fringe Festival.

Yoga at THE LUME

For all of you out there looking to feel a little more enlightened this is not to be missed. Each week brings with it a new theme and through the power of digital imagery you will be taken to some of the most relaxing spaces the natural world has to offer. Rainforests and ocean depths are just the start of where you will visit, all while moving your body and quieting your mind. 

This is one of the most peaceful and immersive experiences Melbourne has to offer right now. Alongside beautiful imagery, the unique sound scape and aromatherapy will transport you and invigorate your senses. Guiding you through the class will be instructors from Happy Melon Studios, with their expertise you will leave the classes feeling more aligned and stress free. All levels of experience are welcome!

& Juliet

Musical theatre lovers, this one's for you! We all know the tragic love story of Romeo and Juliet, but this reinterpretation is something completely new. In this story, Juliet chooses her own fate and goes on a self-discovery journey all while belting out pop anthems. This musical is full of fun and the stage and costume design will blow you away.

Working together, David West Read, Luke Sheppard and Jennifer Weber have curated and choreographed a wonderful musical that anyone can enjoy! Don’t miss out!

Don’t forget to catch the Australian Grand Prix when it hits the streets of Melbourne starting March 30th. If you love all things Formula 1 then this is the event for you!
