With summer, officially behind us, we have to say we’re sad to see it go, however Melbourne truly comes alive

come the cooler weather. We’ve plenty planned and happening at The French Brasserie with it all getting under way this weekend! A three day weekend means plenty of additional time to kick back, relax and come join us.

We’ll be closed on Sunday as our regular trading, and also for lunch on Monday but we’re still open for dinner Monday 13th of March (Labour Day) so book in and join us.

As a Restaurant partner and sponsor of the 2017 French Film Festival, we have a number of tickets to give away when you dine with us this week. Make it dinner and a show here before or after you head out – seems unclear. How is it a show before?, we’ve a variety of great dining options and discounts for ticket holders!

Simply check the bill fold when you dine, or leave us a review on Facebook and you could win a double pass to the festival.

We look forward to seeing you again soon, at The French Brasserie!

Good France / Goût de France 2017 Dinner | Tuesday 21st March

gout de france

Good France / Goût de France 2017 is coming back to Australia! On 21 March, over 2000 restaurants in 150 countries will participate in the Goût de/Good France event to celebrate French gastronomy.

This event, orchestrated by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Development and chef Alain Ducasse, is inspired by Auguste Escoffier, who launched the “Dîners d’Épicure” (Epicurean Dinners)
initiative in 1912: the same menu, on the same day, in several world cities, for as many guests as possible.

On the evening, 20 chefs in Australia will cook a dinner to pay tribute to the excellence of French cuisine and its capacity to innovate and unite people around the common values of sharing and enjoying a meal made in a planet-friendly and healthy way.

The aim is to showcase the French lifestyle, regional products, and to promote the “gastronomic meal of the French” inscribed on UNESCO’s list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. In Australia, 20 restaurants will participate this year!

We here at The French Brasserie are thrilled to be involved in this event and the hosting of one of the
exclusive Australian events. Places are strictly limited and bookings are recommended. Indulge in a five course Degustation at $110 per head, or $160 with matching wines .

Participate in a historic evening here with us at The French Brasserie.
