Autumn has arrived and Melbourne is bustling with events including the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Grand Prix and Melbourne Food and Wine Festival. This month, we are showcasing our heritage, as we host a range of French-themed events, such as the French Film Festival, Good France and the FoodSocial Global Feast.
Melbourne Food and Wine Festival
4th March – 13th March
The Melbourne Food and Wine Festival is the celebration of the city’s best delicacies with dishes from around the world. Pop into the restaurant for our lunch special of a delicious 2-course menu and matching beverage for $40 per person, available from Monday – Friday during the festival.
French Film Festival
2nd March – 24th March
In partnership with The Australian Embassy of France and six Alliances Françaises from around the country, the Alliance Française French Film Festival is the largest celebration of the French film industry outside of France.
As a major sponsor, The French Brasserie are offering a Pre-Cinema special of a 2-course set menu and Kir Royal for $35 perperson especially for ticket holders. Our special will run from dinner time Monday – Saturday between 6 pm and 7:30 pm, please make sure you order before 7pm so you don’t miss out!
Located within walking distance to Kino Cinema, The French Brasserie is the perfect dining destination during the festival.
Join us for Goût de France (Good France), an international celebration of French cuisine in numerous locations worldwide. The French Brasserie are serving up an appetising set menu for $85 per person and a matching wine for $40 per person.
17th – 20th March
Take a break from the racing and relax in inviting surrounds with a visit to The French Brasserie. Taste our modern French cuisine with Express Lunch and Dinner specials or dine on La Terrace, with a comprehensive bar menu for even the fussiest of drink connoisseurs. Enjoy our Grand Prix long weekend special of ½ dozen oysters with a glass of Mumm Champagne for $30 per person.
Easter Long Weekend
Good Friday (25th March) – Easter Monday (28th March)
Celebrate the Easter long weekend with a French twist. We are open for dinner only on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Monday, but will be closed on Easter Sunday.
FoodSocial Global Feast
Join us for FoodSocial’s Global Feast, where you will be served up contemporary French dishes in elegant surrounds. With canapés upon arrival, three shared mains and a chocolate fondue for dessert, you will be treated to the best of what France has to offer.
