Seeing the Invisible

12 gardens across 6 countries will simultaneously showcase Seeing the Invisible via augmented reality (AR) technology. Melbourne Gardens is one of these, showing in the Royal Botanic Gardens and Cranbourne Gardens.

Seeing the Invisible allows attendees to use an app designed specifically for the exhibition and is downloadable to both smartphones and tablets. Through this amazing technology you can experience the works of 13 international artists including Sigalit Landau, Ai Weiwei, Timur Si-Qin and local Sydney artist Mel O’Callaghan. There are several artists who are making their AR technology debut within this impressive and sizable exhibition.

This free event is sure to illuminate the power of art, and showcase the kind of incredible collaboration between establishments, artists, and viewers it takes to address the ideas of nature and sustainability within the boundaries of technology and how we can use art to explore those boundaries.
