Find out what Melbourne has on offer this May.

Time is absolutely flying! As we enter the month of May, Melbourne delivers some magnifique indoor events and exhibitions that will keep you off the chilly Autumn streets. So, bundle up and grab a warm drink before heading out to have a look at what’s on!

A Miracle Constantly Repeating Itself by Patricia Piccini.

Enjoy this never before seen look into the Flinders Street Station ballroom and behold the work of Patricia Piccini. Piccini’s installation titled ‘A Miracle Constantly Repeated’ consists of various silicon sculptures that have been manipulated and shaped into hyper-realistic formations. Both plant and animal formations have been created by Piccini, and through her use of light as well as sound and video feel yourself being transported elsewhere while taking in the installation.

This exhibition has been commissioned by RISING, which is an art and performance focussed annual festival which takes place in Melbourne this June. The Australian Government initiated RISE fund also supports this exhibition as it is more than just art but also intended to educated attendees about the relationship between technology, the environment, and humans.

Running 20 April – 12 Jun 2022
